Newcomers will be introduced to various techniques making your own ceramic works with raku clay. These pieces will be bisque fired for raku firing the following month (minimum of 2 workshops – one to create work, the following to raku fire).Those with experience can create their own artwork and bring in bisqued ware for raku firing only (use of raku clay is highly recommended).
You will glaze your works and take part in the raku firing process. As an option, you can create new clay works during the workshop to raku fire the following month.
No experience necessary. Limited class size. Register now!
Cost: $45 per workshop day which includes raku clay, glazes and firings.
