Movies Under the Guns “Ralph Breaks the Internet”-Battleship Iowa

Battleship IOWA Museum is pleased to announce the 2019 summer film series, Movies Under the Guns. Friends and family are invited to free movie screenings aboard the famed Battleship IOWA Museum, sponsored by the Pacific Battleship Center and the Port of Los Angeles, on select nights. The schedule of 2019 summer movies include Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018) on Friday, June 21. Movies Under the Guns screenings are free to attend, open to all ages, and takes place outdoors under the summer sky on the ship’s fantail.

Bring your family and friends to enjoy this FREE event on the fantail of Battleship IOWA! Sponsored by Pacific Battleship Center and the Port of Los Angeles with in-kind support from LA Harbor International Film Festival (LAHIFF).

Video game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz must risk it all by traveling to the World Wide Web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, “Sugar Rush.” In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet — the netizens — to help navigate their way, including an entrepreneur named Yesss, who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site BuzzzTube.

Bring your own chair. No outside food or drink allowed. A concession stand will be available throughout the evening.

Access to the fantail begins at 7:30pm.

** Parking is accessible from Swinford Street & Harbor Boulevard. The first hour is free, and each additional hour is $2 with a maximum of $18 per day.
