Harbor View Folk Dance Festival

The Harbor View Folk Dance Festival will take place in San Pedro Wigwam Hall from May 19 -21, 2023. The festival features 3 bands playing international dance tunes at evening parties – Friday eve Sans Frontières and Veselba, Saturday eve Tzidia. During the day master teachers Joan Hantman (Israeli) and Miroslav Marcetic (Serbian) will teach traditional steps.
At 5 p.m. Saturday 16 dancers from the The Academy of Serbian Folk Dancing in Toronto, under the direction of Bata Marecetic will entertain attendees with their energy & precision during Saturday’s pre-dinner concert. The Folk Dance Federation of CA, South, invites San Pedro residents to attend the concert gratis. Other activities include a “tea” dance at 3 p.m. Saturday and a Sea Shanty sing-along.
