ENCORE South Bay Presents: Shrek the Musical

Everyone’s favorite ogre is coming to the stage in this musical adaptation of the beloved animated film “Shrek”. ENCORE’s all-ages production (with actors ranging from 4 years old to adults) throws just about every fairy tale ever told into a blender for a hip and funny mash-up.

Come along for a song-filled adventure as a very unlikely ogre hero teams up with a sassy donkey and a feisty princess who’s anything but a damsel in distress. Together, the trio takes on the short-tempered bad guy, Lord Farquaad, to save their kingdom.

Featuring music by Tony Award winner Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abaire, “Shrek The Musical” promises to be ogre-sized fun for the whole family at the Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro.
