Vida Flamenca is proud to present IVÁN VARGAS from Granada, Spain for a rare evening of exhilarating flamenco direct from the caves of the Sacromonte deep in heart of Andalucía.
VARGAS grew up dancing in the famous gypsy cave ‘Cueva La Rocio’ in Granada, Spain. At the tender age of 8 he premiered in Madrid, where he was discovered by world-famous dancer Cristóbal Reyes. From there his career rocketed, performing in renowned flamenco venues in Spain and also abroad, in Italy and the U.S.
VARGAS has danced alongside heavy weights of flamenco including Eva la Yerbabuena and Farruquito as well as flamenco singers Enrique Morente and Jose Merce.
His co-stars, Yolanda Arroyo, Claudia de la Cruz and the Zermeño Academy Dancers come to the stage performing heart-stopping solos accompanied by magnificent musicians José Cortés (vocalist), Andrés Vadin (guitarist), and Diego Alvarez (percussion) along with special guest guitarist Paco Arroyo.
