This rhyming children’s book follows Casey the Container, a new shipping container, along her journey on her first day in port. Casey meets new friends, experiences the workings of the waterfront, and learns the important role containers play in our world. Happy Reading!

Join Author Kristina Bowden and Illustrator Marcia Verkaik in celebrating the launch of “Casey the Container: And her first day in port.”
Bring the family to enjoy coloring activities, a unique photo opportunity, and a reading of the book. Book purchase and signing available after the reading in the museum gift shop. Take home a special goodie bag with each book purchased. Limited quantities are available.
The book reading will start promptly at 10:30 am.
Only books purchased at the museum gift shop allowed in the museum and available for signing.
Free parking is available in the lot located next to the museum. There is also free street parking available.
Food and drink are not permitted in the museum, other than bottled water. The museum does not provide storage for food, drinks, or other prohibited items. Shoes and shirts are required.
