Brave 5K & Festival at the Ship (SS Lane Victory)

Brave 5K’s mission is to celebrate and honor our heroes. Our veterans have made many sacrifices. We believe it is important to support and empower the men and women, who have bravely served our country. We understand their transitions coming home can be challenging, and our goal is to unite as a community and show them support in a fun and exciting way.

S.S. LANE VICTORY
The S.S. Lane Victory is a retired merchant ship, which served with distinction during World War II, The Korean War, and The Vietnam War. This historic landmark is maintained by volunteers of the U.S. Merchant Marine Veterans of World War II, and serves as a living museum and memorial to the services and sacrifices of all Merchant Marines and Navy Armed Guardsmen.

Mission 22 is an organization that helps raise awareness, enlist support and end veteran suicide in America. This organization was established by former war veterans who personally experienced battles with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). With ambassadors across America, it is their mission to help bring an end to the alarming rate of 22 veteran suicides occurring everyday due to PTSD, and to bring hope to those in need.
