3rd Annual Disability Pride Parade

Join us as the streets of East Los Angeles will be imprinted with re-energized people with disabilities and allies taking pride and marching in solidarity! All people with disabilities and allies who are proud to be who we are, who do not see ourselves as victims, who expect more from ourselves, those within our community, and who are committed to building an inclusive community that recognizes the dignity, humanity, and worth of all people.

Parade Route
The disability pride parade, festival and fair will take place at the East L.A. Civic Center located at 4801 East Third Street, Los Angeles, CA 90022 (cross street is Mednik Avenue).
Event registration opens at 8 A.M., which includes your meal ticket, goody bag and event t-shirt; followed by the opening ceremonies promptly at 9 A.M.
Our parade/march will begin promptly at 9 A.M. and is approximately 1 mile in distance (half a mile going and half a mile returning to the civic center — visual maps attached). We will march out of the Civic Center through Civic Center Way toward Mednik Avenue, go North on Mednik Avenue toward Cesar Chavez Avenue and make a u-turn right before Cesar Chavez Avenue and return south on Mednik to return to the Civic Center.)
