A Communal Table-Pacific Food & Beverage Museum

Los Angeles is among a handful of global cities where one can experience virtually any ethnic cuisine, both unadulterated and hybridized. And Nancy Buchanan, culinary author, nutrition lecturer, and publisher of A Communal Table, knows it. On Saturday, March 30, visit LA’s Pacific Food & Beverage Museum and see Nancy convene the world on a plate. Using our southern neighbor as an example—and by employing a range of indigenous and imported ingredients courtesy Melissa’s Produce—she’ll explore the influence of other cultures on Mexican cuisine. After the presentation, guests will enjoy refreshments and sample Nancy’s delicious handiwork.
