Julie Kelly sings in the tradition of the iconic vocalists of jazz like Anita O’Day, Joe Williams, and Shirley Horn. Her personal phrasing and rich alto sound pay homage to the lyric while connecting to the rhythm section and a deep sense of swing! Julie also delights audiences with her Brazilian repertoire and dives deep into the songs of Jobim, Edu Lobo and more in the tradition of Astrud Gilberto and Rosa Passos.
